Though Pastor Lawrence thought about testimonies yesterday, I was feeling like my testimony is quite small, but I decided to use the link as my testimony is in three fold:
1. The first I listened to Pastor Lawrence was a midnight in 2018 and that was a song ministration (I would have sang one of the songs if I was testifying live). Someone was listening to him on Chapel of resurrection tarmac, I was like who is this and that was the beginning of the story.
It was a time I was battling with depression and suicidal thoughts, though I ended drinking sniper.
The love of God has been one of the most evident thing in my life. When Pastor Lawrence was ministering again talking about the love of God, it dawned on me again!
2. My presence here is a miracle. Last year BAR, I was in Ibadan with a friend (who had also graduated from UI). We didn’t know how we missed that BAR was going on, we just saw it on IG. We were like we would have even borrowed money for registration. Eventually, we were opportuned to attend Thursday 12 hours and then to Ebinpami.
This year, I was already serving in Edo state (NYSC). I literally cracked Cowrywise and Bamboo app, selling shares and all to pay up for registration and accommodation. I remembered wondering if I had not done pass myself when it was time to plan transportation to and fro. Here I am and my breakthrough has started!
This is because I had ideas (like starting a Creche, establishing a food service business, etc) running in my head since about last month and I didn’t know how to go about this, coupled with my book editing and publishing issue. I am beginning to receive clarity bit by bit, especially when Pastor mentioned writing proposals and all too.
3. My third testimony is about healing!!!!
First, I started fasting since last Monday in preparation for BAR which in itself is a testimony because I have been on Omeprazole and Mist mag for almost about 3 years. I was diagnosed of ulcer in 300L, but I tell myself it is just hyperacidity, heart burn and indigestion.
Coupled with the stress that comes with my executive role serving in NCCF, I barely fast. When I do, I look forward to 12pm.
This fast that started on Monday till Saturday, back to back, had me breaking by 3pm or 6pm. I have been able to continue BAR fast since Monday also!
Praise Jesus, because this is a great change in my spiritual growth.
Healing testimony continue…. I do have allergic reactions, which the medicals call ‘Allergic rhinitis’. If you know allergies, you’d know that it has no cure, you only have to abstain from the allergens. But this was pollen allergy (allergens been dust, air, pollens and particles generally). Hence why I am ALWAYS on nose masks except in the days I want to be stubborn because Doctors have prescribed it severally because of my health. This issue is very, very, discomforting. I literally grew up with it and also discovered it was sort of hereditary, cause my Mum had it too. I have really prayed, it is even usually in my expectations in a meeting (the stomach ulcer inclusive).
Since I got here, I have had to not use it even when I heard devil’s whisper tell me “Do you know how many times you’ve thought this thing is gone, and it was still there? Better use the nose mask now!”. I really tried shutting down the voice saying “By his stripes, I was healed. Besides, Jesus blood now flows in my veins”.
Brethren, my nose, throat and eyes haven’t been itching, only one of my ear was itching on Tuesday, while in the department where I am serving, and I had to repeatedly decree “Allergy, out of my body now!”, and even that had stopped since Tuesday.
4. Fourthly, my testimony us about my NGO (HephzibahHeart), which started last year via an encounter while I was waiting for NYSC to at least post me after several months. The NGO has now spanned from Ijebu Ode, Ogun state to Ibadan, Oyo state to Benin, Edo state in a way that seem like I didn’t even put in that much work. Edo state testimony is in a way that NCCF work and my PPA shouldn’t allow me but God blessed me with the gift of men. I will be wrapping up my service year, next month and we are already looking to stretching to Lagos state.
Praise Jesus!!!!!
