God is good and fast indeed!
I want to thank God for the privilege of attending BAR, the devil tried many ways to discourage me from coming, from family misunderstanding that made me almost cancel it even after registering to my phone being stolen just 2days to BAR. It messed with my mind cos I didn’t have an atm card and all my bank app is only accessible through my phone. Surprisingly my dad helped me get a new phone within 24 hours which was very weird but God loves me and he is fast so why not. I still couldn’t access any bank app cos it was blocked and I needed to be in the bank to activate it but it was weekend already and I was supposed to be at BAR Monday morning. With no money at all but all I knew was I would be at BAR somehow.
I reached out to a friend to borrow money at least to get to Ibadan and sort the rest later, instead of borrowing me, she dashed me the 7k still I had no cash at all for even transport from iyana bodija to Church hall, my sister was the one helping me out. Fast forward to Wednesday meeting I don’t know which session where pastor Lawrence said we should reach out to people we may need certain things from. I thought about who to reach out to no one was coming to mind. Bt on Thursday during daddy mike’s ministration the holyspirit prompted me to reach out to someone i only met once at a wedding in may who is currently in the UK. I was like ‘as how na” immediately that was when daddy Mike said argue with holyspirit but don’t argue for so long I just smiled and agreed to reach out when I get home after that session. I got home asked the holyspirit to help me draft the message because it felt really weird. I sent the message as early as 5am on the morning of Day 5, after which I didn’t open my phone again because I was nervous but for some reason while leaving the apartment I was staying with my sister here in Ibadan, I told her that I would get at least 100k before leaving BAR. Bear in mind that I opened a new Opay account on the new phone with 0.0 naira. We charged and stretched during the morning session of Day 5 after that, while trying to scan the threefold app barcode later on in the program, series of messages came in and the UK guy also messaged saying I should send account number, at the same time I saw my close friend’s message asking for my account number too and i didn’t want to ask her because she is currently nursing a terrible heartbreak, after sending it I saw a message from a client asking me to book a round trip for him within Nigeria out of which he sent me a little extra money for myself(i work in the aviation industry), that is how I got about 70k in a brand new account within 5 hours from people I wasn’t expecting anything from. It may not be a lot but to me it is an assurance that I cannot be stranded. No access to my bank apps but he still made a way, I’m not owing anyone but I’m 70k richer. I thank God because it is the hand sign before the rain and I can’t wait for the rain that will fall following this Retreat. Glory to God!!!!!!!
