Praise God! My testimony is

Praise God! My testimony is in steps, so please track with me.

Day 1 Morning Session

Since Day 1, it has felt as though my spirit has been one step ahead. I would declare something while we were praying, and the person leading the prayer would confirm it or say something very similar shortly afterwards or later.

The first time this happened, as I was praying, I saw the Lord clothe me in a new garment, and it was being decorated. Next, He placed a crown on my head, decorated with precious stones, including sapphires, amethysts and rubies. Then He gave me a staff.

Later that evening, I believe it was Apostle Shitta who said that the Lord said, “This is a garment factory,” and that we should receive the grace to keep the garment.

I pray for more revelation concerning the symbolism of my garment, crown and staff.

Day 2 Morning Session

Before BAR, specifically on Saturday, I had a prayer call with some of my brothers and sisters in Christ. One of them requested prayer, and I clearly remember saying, “Let there be light!” I was specifically crying out for light.

When we resumed on Day 2, the prayer point was about light, using the exact scriptures that had come to mind that day. I knew that although I had been praying for her, God also wanted light to break forth in my own life.

In fact, Pastor Olaniyan’s entire sermon was about light, its purpose and so much more. I just kept shouting, “Thank You, Jesus!”

Day 2 Evening Session

Oh, dear Prophetess Teju! I am so glad someone wrote your name in the chat because I was joining online from the UK.

All your prayer points felt like they were for me, especially the prayers concerning sorcery against my strength. I knew in my spirit that I needed to war with that prayer.

I have been seeing the number 2323 for months, and at one point, I felt it was a prompt for me to read Numbers 23:23. On the day I felt this, I also heard the word “necromancy.” I did not even know what it meant until I searched for it, and that made me intensify my prayers even more.

When you started praying, the first scripture you quoted was Numbers 23:23. I screamed!

This particular prayer point addressed something I have been struggling with and have even been in therapy for. My therapist referred me for an adult ADHD assessment, and all the symptoms seemed to match.

The prayer point was:

“Every sorcery veil over my eyes, keeping me confused and blocking my ideas, shut down now!”

I have been in a perpetual state of confusion. I would start three different projects or ideas and not finish any of them. I thank God for these prayers. Confusion is gone, and I have clarity.

Pastor Gogo Emmanuel took over next. Alas! It was another confirmation of what I had been experiencing since Day 1.

The prayer he led was one God had called me to last year. The Lord instructed me to watch Apostle Mensa Otabil’s message at WOFBEC about the yoke. The scripture was Genesis 27:40:

“When you grow restless, you shall break the yoke off your neck.”

This was the same prayer Pastor Gogo led. I began to pray it intentionally again.

Then I heard in my spirit, in Yoruba:

“Mo ti bo, mo ti lo.”

“I have escaped!”

Then Pastor Lawrence came on stage.

One of my prayer points in the week before BAR was for God to restore my joy. I just felt as though I lacked joy. No matter the testimony or good news I heard, I felt so dry. Things had stopped exciting me.

The first thing Pastor Lawrence said while pointing at the camera was:

“Your joy is back. You will never lose it again!”

Hallelujah!

Day 3 Morning Session

When we started praying through the confessions, I saw myself carrying twins, even though I am not married yet. It was a boy and a girl. I began declaring specific things by the Spirit and even received their names.

All of this happened before the next confession about seeds came up. I screamed! It could not have been a coincidence.

The same thing happened again before the next confession. I saw a long queue of people trying to give me gifts. In another vision, I was on a stage, and people were gathered around trying to give me gifts.

Then I began declaring, “Destiny helpers are lining up to help me. They are eager to help me.”

The next set of declarations was about destiny helpers. At that point, I knew it could never be a coincidence.

Then Pastor Lawrence came on.

When he started teaching about testimonies, saying, “God loves me. God is good,” I just knew it was for me.

The love of God is something I have struggled with for so long. I have always felt that I disappoint Him too much, and I compare myself with other people a lot. That entire teaching was for me.

Day 3 Evening Session

Pastor Lawrence said that this word might be for someone:

“Say, I believe. I do not doubt God. God can do anything.”

This is an area I have always struggled with.

At a Theophilus Sunday event last year, God specifically called me out on unbelief and even gave me a scripture. That was when I realised this was a serious issue for me.

I have lived with a lens of suspicion. I suspect everyone. When people say, “The Holy Spirit said,” or share a testimony, there is always an element of doubt in my mind.

Even when someone said yesterday that he received money he had not expected, the first thing that came to my mind was, “Hmm, erroneous transfer.” (I used to be a banker).

When someone said they got a job they had not applied for, my mind went, “Hmm, this is how we raise lazy Christians.”

I am only sharing this to show how cynical and overly critical my mind had become concerning the things of God.

Then there was the issue of money. Ah, this one!

I often saw pastors as people trying to take your money. Once they said, “Sow a seed,” I immediately became suspicious. But Pastor Lawrence addressed everything yesterday.

He said, “How do you pray so much and yet your mind is limited? God can give you 100 million and still ask for it back. If you cannot give it, then it has become an idol.”

He also said that someone needed to confess this until the next day:

“I believe. I do not doubt God. God can do anything. He loves me. God really loves me.”

He also said, “I am the one remembering sins He cannot remember anymore.”

This has been a major stronghold for me.

I declared these words so many times until I fell asleep, and I believe doubt has been broken off me.

I want to round up by saying that I had been wondering why I had not experienced any encounter in my home since BAR started. Then it dawned on me that I had been expecting the encounter to be dramatic.

I have been having encounters since Day 1!

All these things that seemed like coincidences, and all the specific words addressing something from a week ago, a year ago or even longer, were not coincidences.

That is an encounter!

Praise the Lord! I am excited for Day 4!
